This original linocut print honors the humble but crucial larval stage of the stag beetle's life cycle, a period of several years during which they eat and tunnel through loam and rotting wood like tiny plowmen, preparing the way for new growth. Earthen Heir is the second of three prints featuring different stages of the stag beetle life cycle. 

Printed on handmade, 100% recycled acid-free cotton paper. 5"x7"
