BESPOKE FAQs

Availability

There is no immediate availability for bespoke artwork at this time. Demand for custom Beastie and Bone paper art is high, however, so prior to submitting your project for consideration when books open, please read this FAQ section throughly, and reach out via email with questions.

2025 is completely booked for bespoke projects. Availability for 2026 will be announced first to Patreon members, then to the Beastie and Bone newsletter (sign up form is in the footer of this site), and finally to social media (@beastieandbone on Instagram, BlueSky, TikTok).

When availability is opened, the Bespoke Art Inquiry Form will go live on this site, and a limited number of projects that fit within Stacia’s schedule and desired themes (see Project Refusal section, below) will be accepted.

Pricing

Bespoke paper art projects start at around $400 USD for simple projects such as single insects or small skulls suitable for mounting in frames up to 8” x 10”, $1500 USD for projects suitable for mounting in frames around 11” x 14”. Larger works start at $2,500 USD, while oversized works (any side of final framing size larger than 36”) approximately $5,000 USD. These are rough estimates, however, and the more details you can give up front about your project, the more accurately a price can be estimated. Framing and Shipping (if necessary, see below) are priced and billed separately.

Payment Plans

50% of the agreed final price of your project must be paid before work will commence work on your bespoke art. This is either a single payment, if work is able to be commenced immediately, or 25% paid up front (in the case of your project being on the waitlist) and 25% paid once your project reaches the top of the waitlist. The final 50% of the agreed final price is due once your project is complete and ready for delivery.

Larger projects may be split into monthly payments over a longer period of time if need be, though the first payment is still non-refundable, and refunds of subsequent payments may be subject to cancellation terms.

Payment Methods

Invoices for custom projects are sent to you via email through Quickbooks, and can be paid with card or bank draft. We do personally acquire your payment information at any point, nor do I accept any other forms of payment (Venmo, CashApp, etc).

Contracts

All Beastie and Bone custom projects require a contract that is mutually agreed on, and signed by, all parties involved, before invoices will be sent and/or projects commence. Contracts are sent via Jotform.

Turnaround

Paper originals can vary widely in the time needed to complete them. Small works can take as little as a couple of weeks, while larger scale projects take months. These timelines can vary, however, depending on project complexity and size, and the speed of your own responses to when I check in with you for feedback on project progress. If you have a specific deadline in mind, please be sure to mention it when submitting your project for consideration, and be aware rush projects may be subject to additional fees.

Framing

It is strongly recommended that Beastie and Bone paper art be framed for display. If you purchase your bespoke piece unframed, recommendations on mounting and framing it will be provided to you, developed by the artist herself from her ten years of experience in the professional art framing industry. If you prefer your bespoke piece be framed before delivery to you, please note that the price of your bespoke artwork will not include framing. Beastie and Bone works with The District Gallery and Framery, who will contact you directly with quotes and bill you directly for the mounting and framing of your piece.

Delivery

Unless you are local to Knoxville, TN, the only delivery method for bespoke paper art pieces is shipping through UPS via our local store, which has successfully and safely shipped originals across the world for Beastie and Bone. A custom packaging and shipping quote will be created for your completed bespoke art, and billed separately to you by UPS.

Project Refusal

Beastie and Bone reserves the right to deny any project at any time. No project that promotes harm or disrespect toward any people group, religion, gender, age, or nationality, or contains content that is sexually explicit, will ever be accepted.

Preference is given to projects that feature endangered species, paleontology, and natural history. Pet portraits, fictional/fantastical species or species mashups, fanart, or character art are not accepted projects.
