About Nevermore:
The modern-day poster child of gothic aesthetics, the raven, is a distant descendant of dinosaurs, who are eldritch horrors in their own rights. Recent research unveils that large dinosaurs like T. rex did not roar so much as rumble, producing deep sounds that are felt by humans more than heard in a phenomenon called infrasound.
Infrasound can also be created by specially shaped architecture or natural formations, and causes feelings of unease, dread, and panic as well as symptoms such as nausea and pain, and has been theorized to be the reason why some such spaces are considered haunted or cursed. T. rex: a carnivore that sounds like ghosts. Spooky!
