Intricate, transforming over time with the play of light and shadow throughout the day, fragile, but renewable, Beastie and Bone originals reflect the qualities of the ecosystems and species that inspire them. Part specimen, part art object, they bring the wild and unusual into your spaces with ever-changing presence but minimal ecological impact.

All Beastie and Bone paper originals are created entirely by hand by Stacia Baldwin. They begin as drawings, then are transformed into dimensional works that play with perception and scale, each work assembled from layer upon layer of recycled or renewable papers that are carefully painted and inked to bring the piece to life.

The selection of paper originals shown here include client projects as well as works created for display in a variety of shows across the US, including exhibitions at Ghost Gallery in Seattle, WA, the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson Hole, WY, and the Witte Museum of Natural History in San Antonio, TX.
